Utilization of biomass as coal alternative
To reduce air pollution, Pura has modified its coal fired Co-generation electric power plant to adopt biomass as additional fuel. Biomass being used here is waste or side products coming from the agriculture and woodworking industries such as rice husk, wood chips, as fuel alternative to replace coal.
